Our faith is central to our lives. It is what drives both of us. Each and every day, in each and every circumstance, our desire is to serve and honor our Lord God. This is not always easy; somtimes it seems we have as many "mountains" as we do "valleys". But in the end we know God is in control and simply desires us to seek Him.
It is our faith that brought us together. We stopped trying to do things ourselves and started trusting God. We know we both made choices in the past that did not please God. However He allowed those to mold us and shape us into the people we are today. Each and every day we are reminded of His love for humanity and His church through our marriage. Just as our marriage may have wonderful as well as challenging moments so do our individual walks with God. But God brought us together so that we may strengthen each other and build each other up. We praise Him for the joy, peace and strength that only He can provide.
Family is a vital part of our life. We make decisions each and every day relative to our family. This includes our immediate and extended family such as parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, etc. Our home life, our communication and our overall decisions are made with faith and family first. This means we may make decisions that result in compromise, sometimes of our own desires and comforts and sometimes of the desires of others. In any case we strive to serve God in all areas of our life.
